This is the last call for all Doodles who want their invitation to the 7th Annual Southern California Doodle Romp and Picnic on Saturday September 6th in Malibu.
This is the largest gathering of Doodles in the world with folks coming from all ove the U.S. We have a wonderful lunch, wine, contests that anyone can enter, auctions, pet photographer for an on the spot portrait and loads of surprises.
It is the most fun day you can have with your Doodle.
Excess proceeds benefit the Pasadena Humane Society.
We have arranged for inexpensive nearby pet-friendly accomodations for out of towners if you’d like to stay overnight.

We just had a rainstorm with thunder the other day and one of our clients asked us about what to do about an Australian Labradoodle puppy or dog scared of thunder – we hope the below helps.

To be afraid of thunder is not uncommon for any kind of dog or Australian Labradoodle. What is unusual is how you might consider helping your Australian Labradoodle through these difficult times.

Petting your whining Australian Labradoodle in an attempt to comfort may in fact be the wrong thing to do. In essence, you are reinforcing the whining behavior during the storm.

Instead, try distracting your Australian Labradoodle by inviting him or her to do something else and praise that activity. Most importantly, make sure your Australian Labradoodle dog or puppy is in a safe place in the home away from windows and other glass…just to make sure his/her fear will not lead to injury.

Australian Labradoodle Dental Care

Your Australian Labradoodle’s Teeth

Australian Labradoodle puppies and dogs need regular dental care. Buildup of tartar can cause inflamed, swollen gums and secondary infection that can lead to serious health problems. Australian Labradoodle dogs, one to three years old, should have their teeth brushed once a week. Australian Labradoodles over three years old should have their teeth brushed three times a week. It is a good idea to start your Australian Labradoodle puppy on a once a week brushing plan as this gets them used to brushing for the long term.

Use a toothbrush that is made especially for dogs. They have long handles which allow you to brush the dog’s back teeth. Never use human toothpaste, use an enzyme toothpaste specifically made for your dog.

There are specially treated dental cleaning pads which can be wiped over the surface of the dog’s teeth. The enzymes in the pad do the cleaning. You can also purchase special toothbrushes that fit over your finger to make brushing easier.

Email: photos@revivalanimal.com or info@greatcompanions.com. Emailed photos must be sent as a jpeg. Low resolution (72dpi) images must be 37.5″ x 50″. High resolution (300dpi) images must be 9″ x 12″.

You need a photo waiver filled out and returned to Revival before your photos will be eligible for the contest. You can mail, fax (800-734-4750) or email the waiver back to Revival.

Professional photos are not eligible for the contest.
